In GPU We Trust?

A bitcoin in the hand, is worth whatever it will bring. Bitcoin mining is energy intensive. Finally humanity has found something that is even less of a no brainer than real estate, because no real property has to be transferred. The whole idea is to make a special digital certificate, to be exchanged for whatever it will bring in the exchanges, in markets subject to manipulation. The plan: buy as many Nvidia cards (superfast consumer graphics processing unit) as you can afford, hook them up to to a controller, power up, and it’s bitcoin rush, just like this fellow in the link picture watching his money grow. Running grid power for this dumps a load of carbon into the atmosphere. Many places on the earth are currently being devastated by mining operations needed for the rare earths used in the manufacture of these GPUs. In GPU we trust?
